A note about “Senior Cats and Seniors”- from Mr. Joe Long.

Prior to our Zoom service this morning, one of our faithful Zoom members, Joe Long, told me that he had lost the best furry friend he ever had.  Joe lost his 11 year old cat due to kidney failure last week.  It is a terrible loss to Joe, as he really loved that kitty.

However, on a brighter note, Joe learned about a shelter right here in Ocala named Sheltering Hands.  They have a unique, totally free cat adoption program called “Seniors for Seniors“.

Joe Long – saddened by the death of his cat…

Seniors can adopt a nice senior cat and there are no fees.

And, there is much more to the program to benefit seniors on a tight budget.   Joe asked that I let folks know about this.   Below, is a partial screenshot from their website and link to “Sheltering Hands”.
