Crossroads II.  March 26, 2023. A Message during Ramadan from one of our Muslim Neighbors The class will be held in the Session Room. (and on Zoom)

Ramadan, the month-long period of fasting for Muslims, began yesterday, March 22 and continues for a month.  Like Lent, Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection and renewal, a period of self-restraint.  During Ramadan, Muslims do not eat or drink from sunup to sundown, each day.  After sundown, they break the fast with a meal called iftar.   At the end of Ramadan there is a celebration, called Eid al Fitr, the feast of fast-breaking.
