Colonel Gorham L. Black III will be our guest this Sunday. Mr. Black is a retired military officer, attaining the rank of Colonel.
Colonel Black served our country in a number of command and staff positions throughout the United States and abroad for 27 years, retiring in 1990. Subsequent to his military service, Mr. Black worked in academia. He was part of the administrative staffs of two universities: Albany State University in Georgia, and Howard University in Maryland. Just before he retired, Mr. Black was the Director for the Maryland State Selective Service System. He is passionate about issues of racial justice, and he will share his perspective about these issues with us on Sunday. |
