The need at Interfaith has increased…

Ft. King Presbyterian Church (13 NE 36th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34470), is sponsoring a food drive to benefit Interfaith Emergency Services, Inc. (450 NW 2nd St., Ocala, FL 34475).

Our own Sue Morgan Thomas announced to us that due to the rise in gas and grocery prices, the need at Interfaith has increased by 100%. The need to supply food to families of seven or more has increased by 300%!

We are asking for donations of non-perishable items that have not passed expiration dates, please, as these foods will go out to needy families immediately. If you can spare two canned goods, it will help as we realize prices are high for everyone. Please no soaps and toiletries at this time, just non-perishable foods!

Ft. King Presbyterian Church is open weekdays 8:30AM-11:30AM and 1:30PM-4:30PM. Be sure to ring the doorbell. If you cannot drop off at FKPC, please inbox me and I will be happy to make arrangements to come and pick up your donation. The food drive will continue until August 28th but the need is great right now.

To call the church, press 352.694.4121. Rev. Jo Anne Dyson is our pastor. Thank you so much! (Information shared with permission.)
