The passing of Robert Norman Rile.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Robert Norman Rile.  Robert reached the heavenly shores on May 15, 2022 at age 75. 

Robert was born on May 12, 1947 in Ocala, Florida to David Bradford Rile and Elizabeth (Miller) Horton.  A retired attorney, Robert lived in Ocala but apparently had no remaining family in the area.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Forestry at the University of Florida in 1969.  Robert earned his Juris Doctor, at George Washington University in 1978 and a Master of Arts in Regional Planning, George Washington University in 1981.

Robert served as an intern on the Appalachian Regional Commission, Department of Interior and in zone management Department Commerce. He served as a planner Manatee County, Florida. He is listed as a notable volunteer and writer by Marquis Who’s Who.

Robert was a retired Captain in the United States Air Force.  He was a member of the Fort King Presbyterian Church of Ocala, Florida, American Bar Association, American Institute Planners, Florida Bar Association, Marion County Bar Association and Marion County Audubon Society.
