Ye Olde History Snippets…

In March 1965, Martin Luther King, Jr., (a Baptist Minister) led a great march of nonviolent black protesters on a long four-day march.  More than three thousand civil rights demonstrators from Selma marched all the way to Montgomery, Alabama.  Scores of demonstrators join along the way, totaling twenty-five thousand marchers upon their arrival in Montgomery.
